The Stansbury
Mountains
Tooele County, Utah Feature by
Jim Drysdale
This mountain range
is at the western edge of the Tooele Valley, southwest of the Great Salt
Lake. Rising from the Great Salt Lake Desert, the Stansbury Range functions
as an important watershed for parts of Tooele County. Snowpack in the
Stansbury can be amazingly generous. The Stansbury Range is home to the
Deseret Peak Wilderness Area. The following photos are provided by Jim
Drysdale.
