Mary's
River Not the easist place to get to, but well worth the trek, the Mary's River area at the south end of the Jarbidge is reputed not only for its scenery, but its fishing potential (potential being the operative word). A long drive through some seldom-seen countryside made the visit worthwhile. But we were disappointed in the fishing (likely due to our clumsy and novice fishing techniques more than to a thin fish population).
For directions to Mary's River, contact Ryan. He marked the route on his GPS and should be able to easily get you from Deeth to Mary's River. We'll likely go back, given the visual appeal. But we won't return with the same fishing expectations we had on our first visit. Click the thumbnails below to view large, high resolution images.
